Strange mark

Can you help me identify this mark. It is on the bottom of this rooster shaped bowl and I cannot find a mark even similar to it on any sight.

The Rooster weighs 6 and 3/4 pounds. It measures 14" high, 13 1/2" from beak to tail and 8 1/2 inches wide at it's feet.

Unusual Collector's or Private Kiln seal

Since I don't recognize this mark either I passed the question on to Mr. Simon Ng at the City University of Hong Kong, who indicated that the mark can be read as YA WAN? ZHEN CHUANG, which then would translate as "Delicate Collectable Precious Treasure".

In his opinion it looks like a modern piece art work mark, or a personal seal for a collector's personal identification use.

This rooster is very interesting and of a remarkable integrity. From the looks of it I would not rule out a late Qing dynasty date for it, and a considerably value.

Thank you for your interest.

Best regards,
Jan-Erik Nilsson
