Hi, everybody!

My name is Lisbeth Smith and I have been the teacher of class 5B since August -98.

I think it´s great fun to work here at Kalvhagskolan. The school has about 200 pupils of ages 6-13. It is an archipelagian school, situated on the lovely island of Styrsö.

Since November -97, I also live here on the island, which is very different from what I was used to. Earlier I lived in the centre of Gothenburg surrounded by huge buildings, crowds of people and busy traffic all day long.

Here the only vehicles to be seen are mopeds and bicycles.

There are one taxi car and an ambulance, of course. The roads are very narrow and that´s why no car traffic is allowed.

Besides work and being with my family, I have a great interest in oriental dancing. I have been practising this for 14 years now and I love to performe and teach both old and young in this art.

To dance gives me joy, friends from all over the world, good physical condition and self confidence. And above all: It´s great fun!!!!

It would be great to get into contact with some other classes out there!
